Terms of Service

plainterview is operated by Intelligent Forward Design LLC, a limited liability company organized in New Mexico, USA(“plainterview,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

plainterview lets you send AI-conducted chat interviews to candidates you invite, and read the resulting transcripts and summaries. The AI asks questions and follows up; it does not score, rank, or decide who you hire. Every hiring decision is yours.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You may not use the service for anything unlawful or in violation of these Terms.

You agree not to: misuse or attempt to disrupt the service; reverse engineer or scrape it; use it to harass anyone; upload content you don't have the right to upload; or use it to make automated hiring decisions about candidates without human review. You are responsible for telling the candidates you invite that they are talking to an AI and for having a lawful basis to process their data.

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops future charges and we do not pro-rate the current period. The free tier is offered as an acquisition tactic and may be changed or discontinued at any time. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods.

Job descriptions, CVs, interview questions, and transcripts you create or upload remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to upload candidate CVs and for handling candidate data lawfully. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data.

Interview questions, follow-ups, and summaries are generated by large language models and may contain errors or omissions. They are aids for your judgment, not a substitute for it. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for an employment decision. See our AI Disclosure.

We aim for high availability but provide the service “as is” without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Intelligent Forward Design LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any hiring decision you make. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination we will delete your data in line with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Mexico, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
